National Day 2021 – celebrate with Sweden!

On June 6, the Swedish Institute will once again broadcast a show to celebrate Sweden’s National Day. The programme will feature music and performances, short features of Swedish people and cook-a-longs etc.

This year’s global party includes:

  • greetings from the Crown Princess with family and Foreign Minister Ann Linde
  • concerts with JosĂ© González, LÉON, and the band Amason
  • Dance company Cullberg performing the work “Cullberg working from home”
  • cook-a-longs with chefs Camilla Hamid, Jessica Frej and Gustav Johansson
  • skits with the comedian Liam Kalevi about Swedish traditions
  • features with, among others, the skier Charlotte Kalla, music with healthcare staff Trapptoner, and virus researcher AliMirazimi
